The New Phantom Drophead

The new 2007 Phantom Drophead has emerged from the Rolls-Royce works at Goodwood. Based on a shortened Phantom platform, the new car retains several of the unique features of the EX100 which was exhibited two or three years ago, including the wood decking and the suicide doors (or as R-R prefer, "coach doors"). a nice touch is the "picnic trunk", whereby the lower half of the boot lid opens downwards to form a picnic table.

There will doubtless be at least one example at the 2007 Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club (UK) annual rally and concours in June.
