Welcome to Winged Messenger On-Line

Welcome to Winged Messenger On-Line, the official web site of the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club of Australia (Western Australia Branch Inc). Visitors are welcome, as this digital on-line magazine is open to all.

The words Home, Articles, Calender, Gallery and Contacts in the burl walnut panel at the top of this - and every - page are links which enable you to navigate around the site with ease. The burl walnut is, by the way, genuine Rolls-Royce walnut from the dash of the webmaster's car, Silver Shadow SRH 8098.

The Home button takes you to the opening page of the site.

The Articles button leads you to the largest part of this site: articles, usually illustrated, about matters of interest to Owners, Club Members - and, indeed, anyone with an interest in Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. There is an illustrated history of all the Rolls-Royces and Rolls-Royce built Bentley cars, technical articles on aspects of maintenance and repair, reports on Club events, articles about Members' R-R related travels and experiences, and also articles which are of wider interest, such as how to decipher the arcane secrets of British numbers plates.

The Calender button leads you to a page setting out forthcoming Club events.

The Gallery button directs you to a number of fairly large images of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, most (but not all) of which belong to Club members.

The Contacts button takes you a page with the contact details for committee members of the Club, as well as a table of links which can zap you around the world-wide-web to other Rolls-Royce and Bentley sites - kindred Clubs in Australia, NZ, UK, USA, Europe and so on - dealers, spare parts suppliers, and many enthusiasts' own websites. When you go to those sites, they in turn have links which can take you on a further merry dance.

Winged Messenger On-Line is complementary to our printed magazine Winged Messenger, which is circulated by post (to members only) six times a year. The aim of this web site is to present our Club, and the cars we are passionate about, to a wider audience, not just here in Western Australia, but in the world at large.

So I say again: welcome. We're glad you visited, and do come back again.
