Rolls-Royce: Fastest Time of Day at WA's first speed hillclimb!

The hill-climb course used for this important event is now known as Crystal Brook Road. If you have an urge to take your own Silver Ghost up it, buzz out along Welshpool Road towards the hills. Where the road begins its wide steep to the left, Brentwood and Crystal Brook Rds go off to the right.

The startline and finish lines are unknown today, and there have been a lot of changes. But the start was probably on the flat near Boundary Rd, and the finish at the top of the hill past the Crystal Brook Garage. This piece of road was used off and on as a speed Hill-Climb right into the early 1960s!
