The Rolls-Royce Owners' Club of Australia, Western Australia Branch Inc (RROCWA), caters for Western Australian owners of, and enthusiasts for, Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. It covers all Rolls-Royce motor cars from 1904 until the present day, and all Bentley motor cars built since Rolls-Royce bought up the Bentley marque in 1931. The Rolls-Royce Owners' Club (RROC) is an Australia-wide organisation, recognised by both the Rolls-Royce and Bentley companies, who have kindly extended permission to the Club for the limited use of their registered trademarks and badges for purely Club purposes. This is not a club full of millionaires, but consists of everyday people who have managed to fulfil their dream of Rolls-Royce ownership. The most popular model in the Club at the present time is the Silver Shadow, produced in the 1960s and 1970s and now very affordable. But the Club members as a group own examples of all models from the famous Silver Ghost (1907-1925) to the new Phantom (2003- ). The WA Branch has about 180 members (who between them own nearly 200 Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars), and holds about a dozen club events a year. They include the Silver Shadow Technical Day, the ever-popular Mystery Tour (basically a navigation event taking the cars over a scenic route to an unknown destination for picnic or barbecue), the Beat the Heat breakfast in February, and attendance at inter-club events such as the British Car Day at Gingin, the Classic Car Show at Whiteman Park and the Maurice Brockwell Memorial Run. There is an annual concours d'elegance and, every few years WA takes its turn at running the R-ROC National Rally and Concours d'Elegance, last held in here in 2003 and centred, very successsfully, on York, and next to be held in Albany in 2009. Want to Join R-ROCWA? There is an Application Form and Registrar's form on this site. We can't do on-line membership; you have to print out the forms, and then fill them in and send them in in the old-fashioned way. Just click the Contacts burl walnut button at the top of this page. The Fine Print This material in this website, Winged Messenger On Line, is provided by volunteers for information of members of the Club, and also to interested members of the public. RROCWA offers no warranty as to its reliability or accuracy. 2. Our Overseas Cruise:

At the Garden Island Naval Base - a regal occasion, with the State Governor's Phantom 6 in the foreground. This handsome car is still owned by the Government, but is on indefinite loan to the Whiteman Park Motor Museum for care and feeding. An annual cruise such as this helps keep it in good fettle.
And don't miss the
